Starting a Billy’s Buddies Franchise is a once in a lifetime opportunity. You will not only be joining Billy Slater (one of Rugby League’s best ever players and a National brand in his own right) but many other Franchisees in bringing a world of adventure and development to young children across Australia.
This Franchise System is underpinned by strong systems and processes and ultimately managed by an experienced, knowledgeable and talented Head Office unit.

Billy’s Buddies has a growing footprint in South East Queensland (SEQ). In just over 2 years we have become the largest provider in SEQ of ‘rugby/rugby-league based’ Programs for children (aged 2-6). We are currently operating Programs for more than 1500 children each week.
Our growth has also attracted significant media attention and brand awareness. We have featured on Channel 9 News four times inside the last 12 months and in the Courier Mail on four separate occasions.
2) Start-up training and support
All Franchisees receive 3 days of upfront training and ongoing support. We truly have created a turn-key system which you will be able to utilise with confidence once training has been completed.
Our training focuses on program management and administration; coaching (both practical and theoretical); marketing; and, how to operate the Billy’s Buddies Sports Management software.
3) Great business model
- Low overheads;
- Most operating costs are directly related to the number of registered children – i.e. most costs are variable in nature;
- The net cash returns are almost directly related to the number of children registered; and

Our process for Franchisee selection is rigorous and involves a number of steps. We need to take these measures to safeguard the Brand and ensure we maintain a high performance culture.

Can I purchase a Franchise in an area not advertised?
Please contact Billy’s Buddies Head Office (alex@billysbuddies.com.au) to express interest in an unlisted area. Our plan is to expand aggressively Australia-wide (with time) but will be focusing on Queensland and regional New South Wales for the remainder of the 2018 calendar year.
